WattPilote Single

WattPilote Single is the typical system to mount on a machining center. It monitors one motor (spindle or axis) and supports one CNC interface. Its memory can store data and specific parameters for up to 120 different tools. WattPilote Single can be installed in networked configurations for easy handling of the complete production line.

WattPilote Contact

WattPilote Contact has been especially designed to be installed on machines requiring accurate detection of the contact point between the tool and the part. For example this system can be used for grinding gap elimination and for crankshaft or turbine balancing machines.

WattPilote Turning has been especially designed to monitor turning machines. On turning operations, it sometimes happens that monitoring only the power consumed by the spindle is not enough, because spindle acceleration may hide the cutting signal. In this case, it is necessary to also monitor the two axis motors. The three channels allow it to independently monitor the spindle motor and also the two axes of motion of the turret. WattPilote Turning can also be installed in networked configurations for easy handling of the complete production line.

The WattPilote Rack is a multi-channel system especially designed for machines where multiple motors have to be monitored. This includes for example rotary transfer lines. This system is available from 2 to 8 channels mounted in a single rack. Multiple racks may be connected in a network to monitor special machines having more than 8 motors to control.

The WattPilote Milling is a special system combining power measurement and 3D acceleration sensing in order to provide tool breakage detection and unequaled protection to the machine for long-duration milling applications such as die and mold manufacturing.

 

 

WattPilote Overdrive is a special system designed to apply adaptive control to your machine. You program the desired power consumption for your application and the WattPilote will modulate the feed rate in order to keep a constant power value.
